Thomas Harrington Jr has extensive experience in marketing and leadership roles. Thomas currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Sanborn, where they lead and builds the Marketing Team and translates corporate business strategy into thought leadership and marketing initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Thomas was the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President Marketing at Applied Geographics, Inc. (AppGeo). In these positions, they led and built the AppGeo Marketing and Proposal Teams, participated in corporate business strategy development, and aligned marketing strategy with business goals. Thomas was also responsible for achieving demand generation goals, winning business, creating marketing content, and developing strategic proposals.

Before AppGeo, Thomas held the role of Director of Marketing, where they led marketing operations, managed participation in events, and developed marketing content.

Thomas Harrington Jr holds a PhD in Geography/Landscape Ecology, which they obtained from Boston University from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Agricultural Economics at Iowa State University from 1987 to 1990. Thomas began their higher education journey at Stanford University, where they received their Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from 1978 to 1982. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Storytelling for Influence" from IDEO U in February 2021.
