Tara Yokomizo Ponce has extensive experience in procurement and operations roles within the biotechnology industry. Tara is currently the Head of Procurement at Sana Biotechnology, Inc. Since joining Genentech in 1996, they have held various leadership positions including Senior Director of Global DS Direct Materials Procurement and Principal Category Manager of Global Pharma Procurement. Throughout their career, Tara has demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills in managing global teams and supplier relationships. Tara has also been responsible for logistics, resource planning, and cost management in their roles within the Pilot Plant organization.

Tara Yokomizo Ponce earned a B.S. degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, graduating in 1996.
