Seon-Hye M. has extensive work experience in various industries. From 2005-2010, they worked as a Publicity Intern at Grove/Atlantic, Inc., and as an Investment Research Assistant at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC. Seon-Hye then transitioned to the finance sector, working as a Research Associate at Reservoir Capital Group from 2010-2013. During this time, they also held roles at Venture for America, where they served as the Operations Manager for a brief period before becoming the Director of Finance and Operations. In 2013, Seon-Hye M. joined the academia, serving as a Lecturer at San Francisco State University and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the San Mateo County Community College District. Additionally, since 2019, they have been the Co-Director of CSM's Asian Pacific American Film Festival.
Seon-Hye M. holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature from Columbia University. Seon-Hye also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University. In addition, they hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cultural Studies from the University of California, Davis.
