Jennifer Ruby is an experienced English teacher currently working at San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District since August 2019. Ruby has a robust teaching background, including roles at San Diego State University as a Graduate Student and Teaching Associate, where Rhetoric and Writing Studies 200 was taught, and at Temecula Valley High School, where curriculum development aligned with Common Core standards took place. Previous teaching positions included Pioneer Valley High School, Templeton Unified School District, and long-term substitute roles. Jennifer Ruby also served as an NEH Fellow, participating in a national seminar on "Punishment, Politics, and Culture." Educational qualifications include an MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State University and a California Single Subject Teaching Credential from California State University-Sacramento. A Bachelor of Arts in History was obtained from the University of California, Davis.
