Lauren Schell Dickens is a seasoned art curator with extensive experience in prominent art institutions. Currently serving as Senior Curator at the San Jose Museum of Art since April 2016, Lauren has previously held roles including Curatorial Consultant for Modern Prints and Drawings at the National Gallery of Art, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and Gallery Manager at Robert Koch Gallery. Earlier career highlights include positions at The Jewish Museum and the Dallas Museum of Art. Lauren's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Modern Art History, Critical Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Yale University.
