Jim Cook is a seasoned professional in emergency services and community leadership, currently serving as a Fire Inspector at the San José Fire Department since March 2021, while also holding a longstanding position as Pastor/Elder at Neighborhood Bible Church since 2009. With extensive experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic at the San Jose Fire Department since April 2006 and previously as a Paramedic at AMR West Ambulance from 1996 to 2006, Jim combines a strong background in emergency response with a foundation in Nutrition Sciences, having earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1988 and 1993.
