Kenny Norsworthy has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kenny began their career as a Project Manager at Young Contractors, Inc., where they were responsible for managing various construction projects, including road widening and stormwater additions.
After their time at Young Contractors, Inc., Norsworthy became the Owner/Operations Manager at McCo-Ad Sign Company. During this role, they oversaw the manufacturing and installation of custom-built electrical signs across the country.
Norsworthy then transitioned into the role of Construction Manager at Texcon, Inc., where they managed construction projects for a year.
Kenny further expanded their construction management experience as a Construction Manager (International) at CCC Group, Inc., working on international projects.

Currently, Norsworthy holds the position of Manager of Construction at the San Jacinto River Authority and will be transitioning to the role of Chief Construction Manager in 2023.

Kenny Norsworthy obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended Trinity Valley Community College from 1988 to 1989 and earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Kenny has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include OSHA 10 and OSHA 20 certifications from the U.S. Department of Labor, obtained in March 2014 and October 2013 respectively. Kenny also holds the HASC Basic Plus certification from the Houston Area Safety Council, which they obtained in May 2013. Kenny obtained their Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) from the US Department of Homeland Security in January 2013. In terms of professional development, they completed Dale Carnegie Training's Dale Carnage program in November 2000. Furthermore, Kenny has a Naui Open Water 1 Scuba Diver certification from NAUI Diving LLC., obtained in January 1993.
