Brian Buster has extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as Risk Manager at the San Jacinto River Authority since January 2023. Prior to this role, Brian held various positions at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice from April 1994 to January 2023, including Risk Manager, Environmental Protection Specialist, Safety Officer I, Operational Review Sergeant, Sergeant of Correctional Officers, and Correctional Officer. Brian holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health, both from Columbia Southern University, completed in 2018 and 2013, respectively.
