Peter B. Jacobsen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Peter B. began their career as a podcast host for Emo Girl Talk, where they provided social advice to young listeners. Peter B. then worked as a production assistant for Indie 103.1, recording and editing radio shows. After that, they served as an account manager for Saga Musical Instruments, working with music stores across the US.
Peter later became the general manager of Music City Rehearsal, overseeing the operations of a music facility with multiple studios. Peter B. also took on the role of programming director for Music City Radio, where they managed the station's concert calendar format. Additionally, they were involved in the development of a new music facility as the general manager of Music City SF, working closely with stakeholders and coordinating with architects and contractors.
Peter also gained project management experience at Maverick Development, where they worked on development projects, generating proposals and contracts, and facilitating communication between various parties. Most recently, they joined the San Francisco Symphony as the Associate Director - Corporate Giving.
In addition to their professional experiences, Peter started their own small business called PBJdiscs.com, where they customized and sold dyed disc golf discs. Peter B. designed and built the website himself and developed a mobile shop setup for disc golf events.
