Carey Wintroub currently serves as a Commissioner for the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department, a role initiated in September 2023. As a Partner at L’dor V’dor Vineyards since January 2019 and a Board Member of the Homeowners Association since December 2013, Carey holds leadership positions including Co-President (2023-Present) and former President (2015-2021). Carey was a Trustee for the French American International School from June 2015 to August 2019, contributing as Chair of both the Endowment and Strategy Committees. In the nonprofit sector, Carey was a founding member of the Girls on the Run of the Bay Area, serving as its first Executive Director and Board Chair for several years. Additionally, involvement with Congregation Emanu-El included significant committees, and Carey co-created The Fifth Night Project, aimed at promoting philanthropy among preschoolers. Educational credentials include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in History from Northwestern University.
