Luenna Kim serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the San Francisco Department of Public Health since March 2021 and has held the position of Director of Human Resources at the City and County of San Francisco's Human Services Agency since 2013. In this role, Luenna Kim provides strategic leadership to the Human Resources Division, which encompasses various functions including recruitment, onboarding operations, examinations, classification, labor relations, civil rights, diversity, equity, inclusion, organizational development, health and safety, and payroll, managing a division that supports over 2,200 employees and oversees a $1 billion annual budget with a $300 million personnel budget. Luenna Kim holds a Doctor of Law degree from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston University.
