Joe Piasecki is a seasoned professional in public affairs and government relations with extensive experience in legislative development and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as a Policy and Public Affairs Coordinator for the San Francisco Environment Department, Joe Piasecki provides strategic guidance and technical support to program staff. Previously, as the Director of Government Relations at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Joe Piasecki created advocacy priority documents and worked closely with university leadership on federal and state agendas. Joe Piasecki also held the position of Chief of Staff for Illinois State Senator Julie Morrison, where responsibilities included managing the Senator's legislative agenda and community outreach. Earlier experience as a Field Organizer for Julie Morrison's Senate campaign involved voter outreach, intern management, and election strategy. Joe Piasecki earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Iowa.
