Chris Otoshi currently serves as a Building Materials Management (BMM) Specialist at the San Francisco Environment Department, a position held since September 2022, focusing on policy development and implementation in alignment with San Francisco's Climate Action Plan. Previously, Chris was a Construction & Demolition Zero Waste Fellow, contributing to waste prevention initiatives and compliance monitoring for debris management. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Content Development at Roger's Urban Farmlab from September 2020 to June 2021, where Chris enhanced community engagement through video content analysis for an urban gardening initiative. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Systems: Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UC San Diego.
