Eric Jost has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Eric started as an intern at the AIDS Council of New South Wales (ACON) in 2004 and later became an intern at Advocates for Youth in 2005. In the same year, they also worked as a Resident Assistant at American University's GLBTA Resource Center. In 2008, Eric joined Strategic Health Care as the Director of Policy/Online Communications, where they managed websites and social media outreach for physician groups. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Communications Project Manager at MedAmerica, developing content for various platforms. During the same period, they also took up the role of a Content Team Lead, leading a team in content marketing strategy. Eric worked as a freelance writer from 2005 to 2012 and published articles in various mediums. In 2015, they joined Zipongo as a Content Manager, overseeing content strategy for a digital nutrition platform. Since 2016, Eric has been associated with the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, initially as a Communications Manager and later as a Digital Marketing Manager and an Associate Director of Marketing. In their current role as Director of Marketing, they lead marketing projects and fundraising campaigns.
Eric Jost began their education by attending American University from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Anthropology and Communications. Following their undergraduate studies, they then went on to attend UNSW from 2007 to 2008. This is where Eric pursued a Master of Public Health degree, specializing in Public Health and Health Promotion.
