Ramanathan Narayanan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the CEO of San Engineering and Locomotives Co Ltd since February 2010, Ramanathan previously held the CEO position at ICIL from March 2007 to February 2010. Prior to that, Ramanathan was the Vice President and Business Head of the Automotive Equipment business at ELGI EQUIPMENTS LTD from 1987 to 2007. Early in the career, Ramanathan worked at Caterpillar Inc./HMEED from 1981 to 1987 and began as a Graduate Trainee at Tata Steel in 1980. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Annamalai University and a B.E. Hons in Mechanical Engineering from GOVT College of Technology.
