Steven Prsha, P.E., is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in energy operations and management. Currently serving as the Grid Operations Services Manager and Team Lead for Microgrid and Energy Storage Engineering at San Diego Gas & Electric since June 2013, Steven is responsible for aligning team efforts with departmental goals and providing coaching and training. Previously held roles at San Diego Gas & Electric include Distributed Energy Resources Engineer, where Steven focused on planning and designing energy storage systems and microgrids, and System Protection and Controls Engineer, which involved distribution protection settings and relay coordination. Steven's earlier experience spans engineering support roles in power systems, telecommunications, and logistics. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration in Business Management from The University of Arizona Global Campus.
