Sarah Gapp has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the education field. Sarah started their career as a student English teacher in the Fontana Unified School District and later in the Chino Valley Unified School District as part of their teaching program at California State Polytechnic University. Sarah has also worked as an English teacher at ESL4Asia, Real English Teachers, Inc., and Starbucks. In addition to their teaching roles, they have also served as a vice principal, ELA curriculum writer, and district common core demonstration teacher in the San Bernardino City Unified School District and San Bernardino Unified School District. Sarah has experience in curriculum development, team leadership, and working with various age groups, including children, teens, senior citizens, and individuals with special needs. Sarah also has experience in the recreation and community services sector through their role as a senior recreation leader and tiny tots teacher at the City of Ontario Recreation and Community Services Department.
Sarah Gapp earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2012. Sarah then obtained a Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Education and Integrative Studies from the same university in 2013. In 2014, they completed a Post Baccalaureate Certificate program in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Chapman University. Sarah is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which they began in 2020 and expects to complete in 2022.
