Marcus A. Arreguin, M.I.S., is an experienced GIS Analyst currently working at San Antonio Water System since October 2022, focusing on the mapping of water and sewer assets and the creation of web applications. Prior roles include Senior GIS Analyst at City of Longview from April 2017 to October 2022, where responsibilities encompassed cartography and spatial analysis, and ownership of STR Creative, providing various creative services. Previous positions also include GIS Specialist roles at both Northeast Technology Center and US Forest Service, and a Business Intelligence Research Analyst at Rogers State University, where data analysis and GIS mapping were key tasks. Marcus holds a Master’s in Information Science with a focus on Geography, Mathematics, and Statistics, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields from Stephen F. Austin State University.
