Fabrice Hudry has a strong background in the energy industry, with extensive experience in the battery storage sector. Fabrice is currently the President of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) at Samsung SDI America Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Advisor at StorEdgeAI. From 2014 to 2021, Fabrice held the role of Vice President Energy Solutions at Samsung SDI, where they led the company's Energy Solutions business and played a crucial role in establishing SDI as the leading Li-ion battery manufacturer. Before joining Samsung SDI, they worked at GE Grid Solutions (formerly ALSTOM Grid) as the Smart Grid Director and Business Development Director, where they managed various aspects of the Smart Grid business in North America. Fabrice also has experience in sales and management roles at AREVA T&D and Cegelec. Additionally, they have experience in real-estate and high-tech startups.
Fabrice Hudry has a diverse educational background. In 1989, they earned a Baccalaureate degree in Mathematics and Physics from Lycee Polyvalent de Moutiers. Following this, between 1992 and 1997, they pursued a French Masters Engineering Degree with a focus on Power Systems at ESME. In 2000, they attended the University of Washington and completed a Certificate Program in Object Oriented Architecture, Analysis and Design. Lastly, in 2009, they participated in an Executive Program for Senior Management at Harvard Business School.
