Ki Chul Chun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Vice President at Samsung Electronics since February 2000, focusing on DRAM Customer Technical Support and Engineering. In this role, Chun has led various projects, transitioning from EDP/HBM/Graphic to Mobile/Automotive applications. Prior to this position, Chun served as Principal Engineer, specializing in low-power and high-density DRAM circuit design, supporting transistor development, and leading design projects for LPDDR and HBM. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Yonsei University, respectively. Chun also contributed to the field as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from 2007 to 2012, focusing on embedded DRAM and mixed-signal circuit design.
