Waqas Aslam is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering with extensive experience in process engineering and technology development. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at SamsaraEco Pty Ltd since January 2023, Waqas is focused on innovative solutions for plastics and textiles waste recycling. Prior to this role, Waqas worked at Licella Technology Development Company as a Process Engineer, where responsibilities included the development of process flow diagrams and equipment specifications. Waqas has also contributed to gas-to-liquid conversion technologies at The University of Queensland and has held engineering positions at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited. Waqas holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland, a Master's degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of the Punjab.
