Zirui Zhu is an experienced ML Engineering Manager currently at Samsara since December 2022, previously holding the same title at Twitter from March 2018 to December 2022, where efforts focused on enhancing content personalization for the Home Timeline Feed. Prior roles include a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Twitter, contributing significantly as a tech lead on the Home Ranking Team and as a founding member of a patented topic-based recommendation system. Additionally, Zirui Zhu served as a Teaching Assistant for a Distributed Systems course at Carnegie Mellon University and completed a Software Engineer Intern role at InterSystems, developing an intelligent meeting minutes generator utilizing speech recognition and natural language processing. Zirui Zhu holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management with a focus on Business Intelligence and Data Analytics from Carnegie Mellon University, completed a summer program in Data Mining and Business Intelligence at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Renmin University of China.
