Hao Yuan currently serves as the Machine Learning Platform Manager at Samsara since September 2024. Previously, Hao held the position of Senior Machine Learning Platform Manager at ASSURANCE IQ from May 2021 to September 2024, where responsibilities included scaling the Machine Learning engineering organization and mentoring engineers. Before this role, Hao worked as a Staff ML Platform Engineer at integrate.ai, collaborating on the design and implementation of a SaaS AI platform and deploying deep-learning models to improve customer retention. Earlier career experience includes positions as Lead Software Engineer at Snapchat, Inc. and Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where Hao contributed to developing highly distributed accounting platforms. Hao began the career at Intuit, designing an automation testing framework, receiving recognition for excellent project contributions. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alberta.
