Betsy Santos currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Samsara BioCapital, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Betsy held various leadership positions in human resources, including Senior Vice President of People and Vice President of Human Resources at Principia Biopharma from November 2014 to June 2021. Additional experience includes roles at Switchfly, Inc. where Betsy served as Vice President and Director of Human Resources, as well as HR Business Partner, and earlier positions at CV Therapeutics and Cepheid as an HR Representative. Betsy began their career as a Reimbursement Analyst at Genentech. Betsy holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, obtained in 1996.
