Jessica Hui (GAICD) has a diverse work experience in various roles across different organizations. Jessica is currently working as a Technical Director at Pacific Partnerships since 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded a technology start-up called sameview in 2018, where they aimed to make a positive social impact by creating an online platform for disability care coordination.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Hui worked as a Lecturer in Distribution System Reliability at the University of Wollongong in 2017. Their earlier experience includes significant roles at Ausgrid, a major electricity distributor. Jessica held positions such as Director Strategic Projects, Asset Investment Strategy Manager, Asset Investment Standards and Policies Manager, Reliability, Supply Quality, and Ratings Manager, Head of Customer Experience and Account Management, Customer Resilience Manager, Blended Delivery Implementation Manager, Manager Substations (Sydney), Senior Engineer Control and Protection, Engineer in Substation Engineering, and Engineer in Customer Service.

Furthermore, Hui has served on the Board of Directors for The Australian Power Institute since 2021. Jessica is also a Committee Member of the Electric Energy Society of Australia since 2019, contributing to the technical committee's initiatives to support engineers in the electrical industry. Hui began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Integral Energy in 1999, where they gained foundational experience in the field.

Jessica Hui (GAICD) started their education journey in 1999, attending the University of Wollongong. Jessica completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering in 2002.

In 2005, they pursued further education by enrolling in the Power System Protection Course at AFNOR (Association française de normalisation – French standardization association). Jessica successfully completed the program three years later in 2008.

Most recently, Jessica Hui completed the Company Directors Course in 2021 at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, enhancing their knowledge and skills in corporate governance and company direction.
