Steve Huynh has a diverse work experience in various industries. Steve is currently the Director of Contract Manufacturing at SAMBAZON since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Quality Assurance at Medterra from April 2021 to June 2022. From August 2017 to March 2021, Steve worked as a Quality Systems Manager at Califia Farms. Steve also has experience as a Development Director at Give Back Cincinnati from December 2015 to August 2017, where they were responsible for fundraising efforts. Before that, Steve worked at Kroger as a Quality Assurance Scientist from January 2014 to August 2017. Steve began their career at Bolthouse Farms, where they held various roles, including Senior Food Technologist, Research Technologist, Research Technician, and Microbiology Technician, from 2005 to 2013.
Steve Huynh received their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara, completing their education from 1997 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications in the food industry, including FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food and FSPCA Intentional Adulteration Conducting Vulnerability Assessments using Key Activity Types from the International Food Protection Training Institute. Steve also holds certifications in Practical HACCP for Food Processors from Mérieux NutriSciences - North America, Internal Auditor from BRCGS, Quality Systems for Food Manufacturing from SQF Institute, InfinityQS SPC Fundamentals from InfinityQS International, All About Baking from AIB International, Inc, Implementing SQF Systems (Post-Farm Gate) from SQF Institute, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Kroger.
