Bowen Yang is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at SambaNova Systems since June 2018, Bowen has previously held positions as Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to SambaNova, Bowen was an Insight Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight Data Science, where notable achievements included real-time prediction of winning rates in the game Overwatch and advancing machine learning techniques. Bowen’s academic background includes a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of California, Riverside, where research focused on data analysis and optical imaging systems, culminating in several publications in high-impact journals. Bowen also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Nanjing University.
