Laura Finken is an accomplished Entwicklungsingenieurin at Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung GmbH, with experience starting in September 2022. Prior to this role, Laura took a parental leave from December 2020 to August 2022 while serving as a Dissertantin. From February 2017 to November 2020, Laura worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at the Institut für Eisenhüttenkunde der RWTH Aachen. Laura holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Werkstoffingenieurwesen obtained from RWTH Aachen University (2015-2017), as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen with a focus on Werkstoff- und Prozesstechnik (2012-2014), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in the same field (2008-2012).
