Anja Schaeken has extensive work experience in the field of clinical affairs and project management. Anja is currently employed as a Clinical Affairs Manager at Salvia BioElectronics since January 2021. Prior to their current role, Anja worked at ReCor Medical from 2019 to 2020, where they held the positions of Associate Director, Clinical Affairs and Sr. Project Manager. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the Sr Clinical Projects Manager at Nevro Corp. Before that, they held various roles at St. Jude Medical, including Clinical Project Leader, Clinical Program Manager CRMD, and Field Clinical Engineer Europe. Anja's career in the medical industry began in 1994 at Ventritex as a Field Clinical Engineer Europe, and they started as a Junior Sales Engineer at HP in 1993.

Anja Schaeken completed their education from 1987 to 1992 at Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven. During this time, they pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Sciences with a specialization in Electronics.
