Derrick Larsen has held a variety of roles in the past decade. From 2010 to 2018, they served in the US Navy as an active duty recruiter, managing interview and application processes and procuring and analyzing relevant data. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., building and managing client portfolios across various industries and providing financial consulting and planning services. Currently, they are an Operations Manager at Salvant Technologies, Inc. (SNATEK), where they are responsible for ensuring the company's general operations run seamlessly and engaging with several departments to ensure client satisfaction.

Derrick Larsen is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Business Administration and Management, Accounting Concentration from Miami Dade College, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Derrick has also obtained certifications from Microsoft, NASAA, FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), and the Florida Department of Financial Services, including Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate (Excel and Excel 2019) in 2020, The Uniform Combined State Law in 2018, General Securities Representative in 2018, and Life, Health and Variable Annuities in 2017.
