Owais Khan is a seasoned professional in venture investing and technology with extensive experience in crypto, fintech, and AI/ML. Currently serving as Principal at SALT since April 2023, Owais previously held the position of Associate at Global Ventures, focusing on emerging markets across various sectors including fintech and digital health from June 2021 to March 2023. In 2021, Owais worked as a Research Consultant for Wing Venture Capital, concentrating on enterprise technology. Between 2017 and 2021, Owais co-founded several companies, including a digital bank for cross-border populations and a consumer lending crypto platform. Owais holds degrees from Yale University and the Yale School of Management, as well as The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
