Juone Kadiri, Ph.D., serves as the Vice President of Equity, Inclusion, and Transformation and Chief Diversity Officer at Salt Lake Community College since January 2018, where Juone provides leadership through training on equity, diversity, and inclusivity. Key accomplishments include redesigning the Diverse Faculty Fellows program into the Racial Equity in the Professoriate and co-creating an Acronym Dictionary with the Faculty Association. Juone has a diverse teaching background, having instructed undergraduate courses at various institutions, including developing a course on Introduction to Ethnic Studies. Prior experience includes roles such as Adjunct Professor at George Mason University, Substitute Teacher at Kelly Services, and Social Worker III at Fairfax County Government. Juone earned a Ph.D. in African Studies from Howard University and holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
