Kathryn Hackman is a seasoned communications professional with diverse experience in public engagement and outreach. Currently serving as Communications and Engagement Coordinator at Salt Lake City Corporation since November 2021, Kathryn previously held the role of Communications and Outreach Assistant at the same company. Experience includes a communications internship at Sandy City, where effective marketing strategies and social media campaigns were developed to enhance resident engagement. Additionally, Kathryn interned with the U.S. House of Representatives, conducting legislative research and creating supportive memos, and with the State of Utah's Office of the Governor, collaborating on public service announcements and press conferences. Early career involvement as a Startup Assistant at Tammy's Greenery in Hong Kong provided exposure to materials sourcing and contractor management. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from the University of Utah.
