Renee Jaenicke

Renee Jaenicke, CPA, CIA, CFE, CHC, CHIAP, serves as the FEMA Project Director at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System since January 2017, leading efforts to secure approximately $20 million in reimbursements for pandemic-related costs and fostering relationships with FEMA and California Office of Emergency Services representatives. Prior roles include Director of Internal Audit and Compliance, where Renee established a new ethics and compliance program, and Compliance Officer at CH2M, where certification as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional was achieved. Previous experience encompasses audits and compliance leadership positions at organizations such as Renown Health, CHAN Healthcare Auditors, and BNSF Railway, alongside academic contributions as Affiliate Faculty at Southwestern College. Renee holds both MS and BS degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from The University of Kansas.
