Usman Ali is a Partner in Venture Debt at Salica Investments, where Usman is part of the founding team of the Venture Debt Fund, focused on providing non-dilutive financing to technology and IP-rich companies. Prior to this role, Usman served as a Partner in Venture Debt at Hambro Perks, responsible for the origination and execution of venture debt deals. Usman's extensive experience includes over 14 years at CYBG PLC, progressing from Manager to Senior Director within the Growth Finance team, specializing in venture debt investments. Usman holds a Master's degree in Business and Management from Strathclyde Business School and is a Chartered Banker, recognized by the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
