David Potts has extensive work experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1990 as the WW Director of Wireless Applications at Texas Instruments. In 2003, they joined SafeNet Inc as the Executive Vice President. In 2010, they founded SalesWarp, a Maryland-based company that sells advanced order and operations management software and services. In 2022, they became the Director of CloudQix Software Private Limited, a subsidiary of 6th Street Inc.

David Potts received their MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001, having studied Business. David obtained their BSEE from Kansas State University in 1993, having studied Electrical Engineering.
