Shaowei Mao is the VP of Engineering at Salesforce, starting in April 2024, with a focus on developing the Salesforce Revenue Lifecycle Management Platform. Prior to this role, Shaowei served as Cofounder and CEO of Veloce from May 2017 to April 2024, leading a cloud service company specializing in complex product configuration and pricing engines for industries such as telecom and data center operations. Experience also includes positions as a Staff Software Engineer at Apttus, where significant improvements were made to the Asset Based Ordering Module, and as a Technical Architect at Amind Solutions, overseeing a web front end platform for Siebel CRM applications. Earlier roles include Engineer Lead at Expedia.com, Senior Software Engineer at Siebel Systems, and Senior Developer at Trilogy, with a foundation in software engineering from Apple Computer and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. Shaowei holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Peking University.
