Greg Tate has extensive experience in customer success and sales leadership, currently serving as AVP of Scale Professional Services GTM and previously as VP of Customer Success Group at Salesforce since March 2017. Prior to Salesforce, Greg held the position of VP of Customer Success at Optimizely from November 2013 to March 2017, where efforts focused on building a customer success organization reflective of the company culture. Additional roles include VP of Customer Success at Topsy, VP of Sales at RingDNA, and various positions at Salesforce.com, including Strategic Account Executive and Director of North American Corporate Sales Engineers. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Sales Engineer at AmberPoint and a Sales Executive at webMethods. Greg Tate earned a degree from San Diego State University between 1990 and 1997.
