Charles Caldwell, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the healthcare investment banking sector, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Salem Partners LLC since November 2019. Prior to this role, Caldwell gained experience as a Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant at ZS and as CEO and Co-Founder of Southern California Opportunity Analysts (SCOA). Academic achievements include a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics and a Master's in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California, complemented by a BA in Biochemistry from Vassar College. Caldwell's extensive experience also features roles in community advisory capacities and coaching in sports, including head coach of the USC Men’s Club Volleyball team and various coaching positions in beach volleyball.
