Jake Conway

Jake Conway has worked in a variety of roles within the hospitality industry since 2011. Jake began their career as a Restaurant Manager at Austells Restaurant in 2011, followed by a role as a Bar Manager at the Royal Fowey Yacht Club in 2012. In 2014, they became a Sommelier at Cunard Line and then a Restaurant Manager at Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa in 2015. In 2016, they assumed the role of Food and Beverage Manager at Hall for Cornwall. In 2018, they worked as both an Operations Manager at CORNWALL CHANNEL LIMITED and a General Manager at Knightor Winery. In 2019, they became a General Manager at Bustopher Jones and in 2021, they are currently working as an Assistant Hotel Manager at Carlyon Bay Hotel, Spa and Golf and as a Sales Manager & Brand Ambassador at Salcombe Distilling Company.

Jake Conway attended Penrice Community College from 2001 to 2006. Jake obtained their WSET Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in July 2012, and their WSET Level 3 certification from the same institution in January 2013.
