Tess Burleson, CPA, MBA, serves as the Chief Operating Officer and President of TGen Health Ventures at TGen, a position held since March 2007. Concurrently, Tess is a member of the Board of Directors and chairs the Governance & Nominating Committee at Salarius Pharmaceuticals, having joined in April 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at both Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute and Lovelace Health System, as well as a Senior Associate in Audit & Tax at KPMG. Tess holds an MBA in Finance from UNM Anderson School of Management and has completed the Advanced Finance Program at The Wharton School, along with a Program on Negotiation at Harvard Division of Continuing Education.
