Waheed Al-Bulushi has extensive work experience in the airline industry, with a focus on ground operations and customer service. Waheed started their career in 2003 as a Traffic Assistant at Oman Air before moving on to roles at British Airways, where they worked as a Customer Service Supervisor and Regional Line Trainer & Customer Services Executive. In 2013, they joined Oman Air again, this time as an Airport Services Manager for Kuala Lumpur. In 2015, they moved to flydubai as a Ramp Standards & Compliance Manager in Dubai. Most recently, Waheed Al-Bulushi was the Regional Manager - Ground Operations at SalamAir as of February 2017. Additionally, they have experience outside of the airline industry, having worked as a Front Office and Marketing Manager at Dream Resort from 2001 to 2002.
Waheed Al-Bulushi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Waheed has also obtained various certifications, including an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) in January 2022, a National Leadership Programme from etimadom in September 2021, Unleash The Power with in from Anthony Robbins Companies in August 2021, Neuro Linguistic Programming NLP from Masar for Training & Development in October 2019, Aircraft Weight and Balance from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in July 2017, Train The Trainer from British Airways in June 2008, and Train The Trainer from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in April 2008.
