Dennis Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dennis worked at Saks Fifth Avenue as the Lead Visual Artist, responsible for directing and setting up interior shops and visual displays. Prior to that, they worked as a Fine Artist, specializing in oil painting and pen and ink illustrations with subjects ranging from fashion to urban street life. Dennis also served as an Instructor at FIDM, teaching courses related to their expertise. Earlier in their career, they worked at Trader Joe's as a Grocery Clerk and Manager, handling various responsibilities such as stocking, receiving, and ordering. Dennis also worked at Southern California Edison (SCE) as a Graphic Designer and Overhead Construction worker, where they were responsible for presentations, newsletter design, and coordination, as well as being a field lineman.

Dennis Salazar attended ArtCenter College of Design from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Illustration and Fine Arts.
