Marco Zoia is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in power systems and project management within the energy sector. Currently serving as Project Package Lead and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Saipem since July 2022, Marco has previously held roles such as Field Engineer and Mechanical Engineer across multiple Saipem branches, focusing on major power generation projects, including the erection and technical support of circulating fluidized bed boilers, steam turbines, and cooling towers. With a strong educational background in energy engineering from Politecnico di Milano and advanced coursework at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Marco also possesses expertise in package engineering, renewable energy, and gas valorization, complemented by a solid foundation in modeling and technical specifications for power plants.
