Phyllis Cavallone, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Education at Saint Xavier University since August 2024, following a role as Executive Director at Ladder Up Chicago, a nonprofit focused on providing financial resources to economically disadvantaged individuals from September 2021 to September 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Academics for the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Catholic Schools from July 2018 to September 2021, and as Principal of St. Therese Chinese Catholic School from July 2004 to June 2018, emphasizing Asian language and culture. Additionally, Phyllis worked as an Adjunct Instructor in Math and Mathematics Education at Saint Xavier University from August 1997 to December 2003. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, a degree in Educational Supervision and Administration from Roosevelt University, and both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education and Mathematics Education from St. Xavier University.
