Rob Moerkerke is a seasoned professional in the polymer and film technology industries, currently serving as the Global Business Director for CoreTech at Saint-Gobain Surface Solutions since July 2021. Previously, Rob held several significant roles at Saint-Gobain, including Chief Technology Officer for Thin Films and Business Manager for Custom Films, where strategic technology management and business development were key responsibilities. Rob’s extensive career also includes positions at Bekaert, where roles spanned from Global Manager of Application Technology to Senior R&D Manager, focusing on performance plastics and solar technologies. Rob's educational background includes a Doctorate and Postdoctoral degree in Polymer Chemistry from KU Leuven and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, respectively.
