Matt Kim has been working in the tech industry since 1999. Matt began their career as a Web Developer at Cardinal Communications before becoming a Photographer at Matt Kim Photography in 2002. In 2017, they transitioned to the tech industry once again and worked as a Frontend Engineer at Bay Area News Group. In 2018, they moved to One Concern and held the same role. In 2019, they became a Software Engineer, Frontend Applications at NAUTO. In 2020, they began working as a UI Engineer at Silicon Valley Bank, and they currently hold the same role at Sail Internet.

Matt Kim attended the University of California, Berkeley, studying Chemistry.
