Mathews Joseph Manangadiyil is an accomplished Mining Engineer with extensive experience in various aspects of mining and quarrying operations. Currently employed at Saif Bin Darwish since September 2022, Mathews oversees drilling, blasting, and quarry planning. Previous roles include Assistant Manager at Larsen & Toubro, managing controlled blasting for infrastructure projects, and Mines Manager at POABSON Granite Products, where Mathews handled manpower and machinery for open-pit quarrying. Earlier experience includes positions as Assistant Mine Manager at Fomento and Mining Engineer at Hindustan Zinc Limited, focusing on mine development and operational supervision. Mathews began the professional journey as a project intern at the National Institute of Rock Mechanics and has completed internships in limestone and gold mining. Mathews holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Law from the National Law School of India University and a Bachelorā€™s degree in Mining Engineering from Dr. T Thimmaiah Institute of Technology.
