Richard O'Connor has a diverse and extensive work experience in the electronics industry. Richard started their career as a Sales & Marketing Representative at Peerless Electronics in 1984 and worked there until 1987. Richard then joined Sager Electronics in 1987 as a Sales & Marketing Representative and was responsible for supporting a multi-million dollar account base in the New York/New Jersey Metro area. In 1995, Richard was promoted to Senior Sales & Marketing Representative and relocated to the DFW market to assist in the growth associated with the merger of North Star Electronics and Sager Electronics. Richard then became the Inside Sales Manager, where they managed inside sales and local sales support personnel responsible for the TOLA/U.S./Mexico border region. From 1998 to 2000, Richard served as the Service Center Manager before being promoted to the role of Regional Sales Director from 2000 to 2007. In this position, they managed all sales and regional product management personnel in the South Central region. Richard then became the General Manager, responsible for managing all sales and regional product management personnel in the South Central region from 2007 to 2015. Their primary responsibilities included implementing and executing the Sager business plan and attracting highly talented individuals to support business growth and expansion. Since 2015, Richard has been serving as the Regional Sales Director, managing sales and regional product management personnel in the South Central region and furthering the expansion of Sager Power Systems throughout the TOLA territory.
Richard O'Connor attended the State University of New York from 1979 to 1981 and earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. Richard then attended Dowling College from 1982 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
