Jim Spitali has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim began their career in 2004 at CIBC, where they held various positions such as Branch Manager and District Manager. During their time at CIBC, Jim focused on sales effectiveness, leadership development, and risk management. Jim later joined Meridian Credit Union as the Director of Sales Effectiveness, where they implemented sales strategies and improved sales execution. Jim then moved to DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. as the Vice President of Strategy, where they played a key role in creating and deploying the organization's overall strategic marketing and sales strategy. After DUCA, Jim worked at Sheridan as a Professor in the Faculty of Business. Jim'smost recent role is at Sagen, where they serve as the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing the operations, sales, and marketing teams. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a ability to drive efficiency and growth.
Jim Spitali attended the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2015 to 2016, where they participated in the Inspired Leader Executive Management Program. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Dalhousie University from 2013 to 2016. Jim's undergraduate education was at Brock University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a BBA Honours degree in Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Jim has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Sales Leader (CSL) from the Canadian Professional Sales Association in 2018 and the Personal Financial Planner Designation (PFP®) from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2014. Jim also holds the Certified Sales Professional Designation (CSP) from the Canadian Professional Sales Association, achieved in 2013, along with the Net Promoter Certified Associate certification in the same year.
